Senior Engineer

Location: Islington Salary: 65 -75k + Package Job Type: Permanent Sector: Main Contracting / Construction Project: RC Frame Build We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a well-established Main Contractor on a major construction project. The successful candidate will be working on a significant reinforced concrete (RC) frame project, taking responsibility for the engineering and technical delivery of the project from the early stages through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Engineer looking to join a reputable contractor and work on a challenging, high-value project. The Role As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support across the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, Design Team and subcontractors to ensure the works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and coordinating engineering activities on site. Setting out and surveying to ensure works are constructed accurately and in accordance with drawings and specifications. Working closely with the project team to resolve technical and engineering issues. Reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications and construction information. Coordinating with the design team and raising RFIs where required. Managing and monitoring subcontractor works.
