Previous experience working on highways contracts (eg National Highways / TFL) is highly enouraged. This role is paid via CIS and expected to last 6 months. Scope of work will include roadworks and surfacing schemes, drainage, street lighting, lining and signing projects, accessibility upgrades, urban realm improvement and walking / cycling paths Key Responsibilities: Providing input into design and resolving constructability issues Driving the quality control / assurance process with subcontractors Project Leadership: Take overall responsibility for the successful completion of designated sections or full projects, leading by example and ensuring the day-to-day delivery of construction work. Program Management: Draw up and monitor 4 weeks program, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
