Senior Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a Tier 1 Principal Contractor delivering a major life science / commercial scheme in Oxford. This is a technically demanding project involving a concrete frame structure and a substantial double-basement, offering an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in complex structural and substructure works.The RoleAs Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the engineering delivery of the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, Design Team and specialist subcontractors.A significant element of the role will involve the demolition, enabling and construction works associated with the double basement, followed by the delivery of the concrete frame and associated structural works.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage engineering activities across the project.Oversee setting out, surveying and dimensional control.Manage engineering interfaces between the permanent works, temporary works and specialist subcontractors.Provide technical support throughout the demolition, excavation and basement construction phases.Coordinate the delivery of the double-basement structure, including complex substructure and concrete works.Work closely with the design team to resolve technical queries and ensure construction information is delivered efficiently.Review drawings, specifications and design information, identifying potential issues before they impact programme.Ensure works are ..... full job details .....
