Senior Engineer – Major Infrastructure Project - Britain’s Ocean City

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to take ownership of a major section of works on a flagship civil engineering scheme in Britain’s Ocean City. This isn’t a role where you’ll be buried in paperwork or stuck in the background. You’ll be right at the heart of delivery — leading engineers, driving progress and solving technical challenges on a nationally significant infrastructure project.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take responsibility for one of the major work packages on the project, leading engineering delivery and supporting the wider site team.

Expect to be involved in:

• Leading engineering delivery across your section of works
• Managing and mentoring site engineers
• Coordinating specialist subcontractors
• Attending client and progress meetings
• Driving programme, safety and quality performance
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS
• Working closely with the commercial team on progress and reporting
• Solving technical challenges on complex reinforced concrete works

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role where you’ll be expected to take ownership.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll likely already be operating as a Senior Engineer or strong Section Engineer on major civil engineering projects.

You’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ experience delivering large civil engineering works
• Strong background in reinforced concrete structures
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors on site
• Confidence working in technically demanding environments
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• HNC / HND or equivalent engineering qualification
• Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance

Experience on marine, infrastructure or highly regulated projects would be advantageous.
