Project Engineer Civil Engineering Location: Grays, East London Salary: £42,000 £47,000 + Package Sector: Civil Engineering / Bulk Earthworks Type: Permanent Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering major earthworks on a major highway project in Grays, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer looking to develop their career within a busy project environment, working alongside an experienced team and playing a key role in the successful delivery of the works. The Role As Project Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support to the project team, helping ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality, specification and programme. Your responsibilities will include: Providing engineering support to the project and site teams Setting out and surveying as required Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and technical information Monitoring works against design and specification Assisting with the management and resolution of technical queries Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams Maintaining accurate engineering records and documentation Supporting quality assurance and quality control processes Monitoring progress and assisting with project reporting Liaising with designers, engineers and other project stakeholders Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with health, safety, environmental ..... full job details .....
