      <description>Location: Gatwick | Salary: &amp;pound;450/day | Type: Contract | We are recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major airport infrastructure programme, supporting the delivery of complex civil engineering and refurbishment works within a live operational environment.      As Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of key work packages and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.     Key responsibilities include:  	 Management of subcontract packages including bridge jacking and bearing replacement works. 	 Oversight of grit blasting, protective coatings and repainting activities. 	 Coordination of major temporary works, scaffolding and access solutions. 	 Engineering support for internal and external building alterations. 	 Permit-to-work management and safe system compliance. 	 Stakeholder engagement within a live airport environment. 	 Interface management between civil, electrical, mechanical and plumbing contractors. 	 Review of technical documentation, work packs, ITPs and quality records.
