Senior Engineer / AP

Our client, a renowned player in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer / AP to join their team on a contract basis. This role will involve on-site responsibilities, particularly focusing on lifting supervision and tasks within the marine and highway sectors.

• Overseeing on-site engineering tasks and ensuring all operations adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Acting as the appointed person for lifting operations, ensuring they are conducted safely and efficiently
• Managing and supervising site activities in marine and highway environments
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project delivery
• Carrying out risk assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to site activities
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and within agreed timelines

• Experience in lifting supervision within engineering projects
• Understanding of marine and highway engineering practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications
