Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer £55,000 £70,000 Permanent Oxford An established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join its project team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer with strong technical and site delivery experience to take responsibility for the engineering function on significant construction projects. You ll work closely with the wider project team, subcontractors and supply chain, while overseeing Site Engineers and ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and to specification. The Role As Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for site engineering across packages including earthworks, piling, groundworks and drainage, structural steel, cladding and general construction. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the site engineering function and overseeing Site Engineers Ensuring accurate setting out and dimensional control Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and contract information Managing external surveys where required Supporting the planning and delivery of temporary works Ensuring compliance with SHEQ procedures, RAMS and project requirements Producing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Maintaining accurate quality and compliance records Providing engineering input into programmes and site logistics Monitoring progress and reporting against programme Chairing subcontractor progress meetings Producing weekly and monthly progress reports where ..... full job details .....
