Senior Engineer

Abatec has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Senior Engineer to join a leading Teir 1 civil engineering contractor delivering long-term water infrastructure projects across South Wales. With a significant pipeline of work secured through the current investment period, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to join an established team and work on a range of complex civil engineering and water schemes. The successful candidate will join a project delivery team responsible for the engineering management of schemes across the South Wales region with a particular focus of schemes along the M4 Corridor As Senior Engineer you will: Provide technical and engineering leadership across your section of works Manage and coordinate engineering activities on site Ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved methodologies Review designs and identify potential technical issues before construction Promote a strong culture of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance Liaise with designers, subcontractors and site management teams Our client requires a Senior Engineer with: Degree/HNC/ONC in Civil Engineering or a related field Previous experience within heavy civil engineering projects Previous experience working on water/wastewater or utilities projects (preferred) Excellent knowledge of construction processes, standards, and regulations Strong leadership and communication skills Salary/Benefits: ..... full job details .....
