Senior Endpoint Officer

Reed Technology is working with an Edinburgh based institution, as they look to add a Senior Endpoint Officer to lead and oversee the systems and processes that support and maintain the infrastructure behind the Windows desktop environment for thousands of users.Key responsibilities:Oversee the design, implementation, and support of systems that enable automated deployment of operating systems, applications, and configurations across the Windows desktop environment.Ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the Windows desktop service, managing incidents, changes, and service delivery processes.Serve as a senior technical resource, offering in-depth support and guidance to IT colleagues and resolving complex issues that require specialist knowledge.Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance current and future desktop services, improving efficiency, scalability, and user experience.Requirements:Solid experience in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) or Intune.Deep understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.Solid knowledge of networking principles and technologies.Proven experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing high-level of technical support.Demonstrated experience in service management and large-scale configuration management.Ideally holding Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent certifications.Benefits: Permanent position with a ..... full job details .....
