Hexwired are recruiting for an electronics design consultancy, based in Huntingdon now seeking a senior embedded systems engineer with a FPGA focus to join their small engineering team responsible for the development, verification and maintenance of a range of products. The company is expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking a senior embedded systems engineer, ideally with knowledge of power electronics. This is a senior embedded systems engineer role mainly focussed on FPGA design using mainly VHDL or Verilog. Key skills: FPGA design using VHDL and/or Verilog Software development in C/C++ for embedded processors Circuit design, implementation, and bench level testing Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience of schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium (or similar) Experience of realtime control using MatLab Simulink The company are looking to offer 65k- 75K depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonusses.
