Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer Location: Nottinghamshire (hybrid 3 days onsite) Salary: Up to £65k (DOE) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative product development team working on next-generation embedded technology. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you''ll play a key part in developing secure, network-connected embedded products from concept through to production. You''ll be joining a collaborative engineering environment, working alongside firmware, hardware, software, test and compliance teams to deliver cutting-edge products for a global customer base. About the Role Design and develop embedded software for network-connected products. Implement secure communication protocols including HTTPS/TLS. Develop production-quality embedded C/C++ software for real-time systems. Design and maintain low-level software drivers and hardware interfaces. Support secure networking functionality and cybersecurity implementation. Contribute to software architecture, code reviews and technical design discussions. Debug and resolve complex embedded software issues. Work closely with hardware, firmware, test and compliance engineers throughout the product lifecycle. Produce technical documentation and support product certification activities. Contribute within an Agile development environment.
