The engineer they''re after Substantial years of commercial embedded firmware development in C / C++ on 32-bit microcontrollers with a history of leading delivery on tricky products. Solid vehicle-bus background. CAN bus, LIN or similar is essential, and the deeper the better: bus design, message architecture, diagnostics, and the tooling to troubleshoot it (CANalyzer, PCAN, BusMaster or equivalent). Actually happy in a vehicle. Harnesses, wiring, in-vehicle debugging, commissioning. Strong real-time embedded fundamentals: RTOS, interrupts, low-level drivers, and the usual protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).
