Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer Location: Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Hybrid (3/2) Salary: £60-70K + bonus We''re looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead firmware development and drive delivery of embedded products. You''ll manage key projects, mentor engineers, and work closely with architecture and leadership teams to shape how products are built for the future. About the Role You''ll own project delivery across firmware development - from requirements and design through production. This is a technical leadership position where you''ll drive innovation, mentor engineers, and contribute to our product strategy. Your day-to-day: Lead firmware development projects across multiple platforms and device types Work with our architecture team on technical design decisions and implementation Manage project delivery and technical timelines in collaboration with the engineering manager Mentor and develop junior engineers, helping them grow technically Collaborate with hardware, product, and leadership teams Research emerging technologies and evaluate new approaches for our products Drive improvements in our development practices version control, testing, CI/CD Support product certification, EMC testing and regulatory compliance You''ll be someone teams rely on for technical depth and delivery raising the bar for embedded systems excellence.
