Job Title: Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer Location: Stockport Salary: Up to £70k (DOE) An established technology and engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer to join its growing Research and Development team. The business is investing in the development of new and existing electronic products and is looking for an experienced engineer to play a key role in the design, development and delivery of advanced embedded systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer with substantial industry experience to contribute to complex, hands-on engineering projects within a collaborative and technically driven environment. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in C/C++, microcontroller and microprocessor architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), unit testing and bootloader development, alongside practical electronics and hardware engineering experience. Strong analytical and system-level debugging skills are essential, as is the ability to influence architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Develop robust real-time firmware in C/C++, working within strict timing, performance and memory constraints.
