The Role
As a Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, responsible for developing and improving PCBA and product testing capabilities, providing technical diagnostic support, and ensuring manufacturing processes operate reliably and efficiently.
You will take technical and project leadership responsibility for the introduction of new products, processes and automated test equipment, while working closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and external suppliers.
The role is highly hands-on and would suit an experienced electronics engineer with strong manufacturing, test and troubleshooting expertise who is comfortable leading projects and supporting a small technical team.
Key Responsibilities
+Lead and provide technical support to a small team of Electronics Manufacturing and Test Engineers/Technicians.
+Lead projects involving the introduction of new products, manufacturing processes and automated test equipment.
+Design, develop, validate, maintain and document automated test systems and verification processes.
+Develop data acquisition solutions from manufacturing and test equipment to support data-driven improvements.
+Provide technical support to Manufacturing through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
+Fault-find, troubleshoot and repair precision electronic PCB assemblies.
+Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.

About You
You will have significant experience within electronics design, electronics manufacturing engineering or a similar technical manufacturing environment, alongside a strong hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
+HNC, HND or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline.
+Significant experience in an electronics design and/or manufacturing engineering role.
+Strong electronics design, measurement and diagnostic capability.
+Experience designing electronic circuits and PCB layouts using CAD/PCB design software.
+Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, particularly with complex or high-sensitivity electronics.
+Experience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis, such as 8D, A3 or similar methodologies.
+Understanding of firmware and software, with some basic coding/programming ability.
