Senior Electronics Engineer

Our client, a Defence and Security supplier is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join them on a contract basis at their site in Harlow. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold the British nationality and be eligible for SC Clearance.Full time onsite in Harlow, Essex.Inside IR35, competitive market rates.12-month contract. ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will support the Team across various programmes and will involve the following main duties within the product development: Develop requirements to ensure compliance to the relevant standards.Create and manage architectures for Digital Electronics and firmware (mainly FPGAs)Understand, decompose and verify Design requirementsCreate FPGA design using VHDL and embedded CDefine and perform unit level and sub system level testing for embedded firmwareCreate design documents (HW +Firmware)Create Test DocumentsCreate Firmware Simulation Test ReportsCreate Timing and Power Analysis ReportsWork alongside our embedded system, software and other electronic design engineersPerform technical reviews of the documents and release Skills and experienceExperience creating top level Design architecturesExperience testing and verifying requirementsExperience in working with DSP, Micro, Memory devices, ADCs, DACs, Power supplyExperience working with FPGAs and SoC technologiesAbility to understand VHDL codeAble to present technical information clearly and concisely to othersAn openness to learn and try new ..... full job details .....
