The Company
Our client is an innovative technology leader supporting a range of high-tech industries. Teams work on advanced RF power solutions and cutting-edge electronic systems for both commercial and R&D projects. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer with extensive experience in electronic manufacturing.
The Role
As Senior Electronics Engineer, you''ll take responsibility for the full lifecycle design of RF systems - from concept through to production. You''ll be hands-on with circuit design, PCB layout, prototyping, and validation. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving and working in a multi-disciplinary lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF-based electronic systems from concept to production
- Support existing product enhancements and lifecycle improvements
- Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium or Cadstar
- Define and review multilayer PCB layouts
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to test and validate designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and Health & Safety regulations
- Perform failure analysis (DFMEA/FMECA) and design for reliability (MTBF)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design
- Extensive background in product development and electronic manufacture
- Proficient in Altium or Cadstar for schematic and PCB layout
- Experience with FPGA/DSP hardware design
- Skilled in PCB testing, fault finding, and debugging
- Knowledge of DFMEA/FMECA and reliability engineering practices
- Must have or be able to obtain UK Security Clearance (British Passport required)
