Senior Electronics EngineerBristol - Hybrid Working (3 office days a week)Monday to Friday£60,000 - £75,000 DOE An exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing hardware team developing innovative, high-quality electronic products. You''ll take a lead role across electronics design, embedded systems and product development, while supporting the wider engineering team with technical guidance and mentoring. The role is hands-on and will involve taking projects from initial concept through to testing, validation and production.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems and product platforms.Own key hardware areas including embedded controllers, audio, sensors, thermal management, HMI and related firmware interfaces.Produce circuit designs, schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring designs are reliable and suitable for manufacture.Contribute to embedded firmware development and code reviews using C/C++ and Zephyr RTOS.Develop effective testing strategies and support automated testing and CI processes.Lead hardware and firmware verification, validation and compliance activities.Maintain accurate BOMs, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.Investigate quality issues and drive improvements across products and processes.Support risk assessments, DFMEA and engineering controls in line with relevant standards.Provide technical input into future platforms, technologies and product roadmaps.Build strong ..... full job details .....
