This role is to hire for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis, to support growth in the Glasgow office and RandD roadmap. This position is suitable for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer or a mid-level Electronics Design Engineer seeking progression.Work arrangement:

3-4 days onsite and rest WFH. Relocation assistance and Sponsorship is provided.Base salary:

£45,000-£60,000 per annum.Key Qualifications

4-5+ years industry experienceExperience in the full product design lifecycle from conceptExperience of board level design and mixed signal electronicsExperience in microcontroller, mixed analogue and digital circuit designsPractical experience in Schematics Capture, Layout and PCB layout knowledgeExperience with Altium or other PCB design toolsNetwork interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485Good understanding of Design for test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Experience of product compliance and Safety – EMC, LVD, CE MarkingDebugging, simulation and validation of electronic and system designsExperience of creating and maintaining technical documentationElectrical/electronic engineering experience in an industrial environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsNice to have

Experience with PID controlled systemsEmbedded CMicrocontrollers – STM32, ARM Cortex ProcessorsProduct lifecycle management (PLM) softwareAgile Development Experience - SAP, OracleExperience with Toradex based embedded computing modulesTest equipment development to support production and manufacturingExperience of mentoring and coaching junior engineersBenefits
