Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Senior Electronic Design Engineer Location: Leicester (Hybrid 4 days onsite) Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Leicester. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and delivery of embedded electronic products, taking projects from initial specification and concept through to validation, certification and production. Working closely with hardware and software engineers, you will contribute to technically challenging product development projects and have the opportunity to work directly with customers and support projects through the full engineering lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electronic hardware from initial specification through to production. Produce schematics and PCB designs for mixed-signal electronic systems. Design and develop analogue and digital circuits, including power supplies, signal conditioning and sensor interfaces. Work with embedded platforms including microcontrollers, processors, sensors and communication interfaces. Prototype, test, debug and validate electronic hardware using laboratory equipment. Support PCB design, bring-up, hardware verification and product qualification. Consider EMC, DFM and DFT throughout the design process. Support compliance and environmental testing where required. Produce technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures and validation reports. ..... full job details .....
