Jackson Hogg is pleased to be supporting-an innovative engineering business that designs and manufactures cutting-edge automated machinery and complex electromechanical equipment for customers across a range of high-tech industries.

Our client is looking to bring a Senior Electromechanical Technician to their team and-play a key role in the build, test, commissioning and development of bespoke automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble complex electromechanical and automated systems.
• Carry out electrical wiring, installation and integration activities.
• Support machine testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics and technical documentation.
• Work closely with design, controls and project engineering teams.
• Support continuous improvement activities across the workshop.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members where required.

Key Requirements

• Experience in electromechanical assembly, machine build or automation environments.
• Electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, motors and drives.
• Reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting complex equipment.
• Machine commissioning, testing or installation activities.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems (desirable).
• Working on bespoke machinery, robotics, special-purpose equipment or advanced manufacturing systems.
