Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the construction and building services sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join its London-based team. This permanent role will provide technical leadership and assurance across the electrical scope, from design development and procurement through to installation, testing and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:Lead the coordination and management of electrical design information, resolving technical queries and ensuring compliance with project requirementsManage electrical procurement packages, including supplier selection, technical evaluations, submittals and long-lead strategiesReview and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals and method statementsPlan and track electrical works, identifying risks, labour requirements and recovery actionsOversee on-site electrical installations, ensuring quality, productivity and compliance with specifications and statutory requirementsManage electrical material take-offs and procurement schedulesLead electrical BIM coordination, including clash detection and resolutionOwn electrical quality assurance and quality control processes, including ITPs, inspections, testing and NCR closureLead electrical testing, commissioning, factory acceptance tests and integrated systems testingWork closely with project managers, construction teams, design consultants, specialist subcontractors and internal technical managementJob Requirements:Significant experience in electrical ..... full job details .....
