Senior Electrical Engineer

Streamline Recruitment is seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading national M&E Consultancy based in their state of the art offices in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative electrical design solutions within the M&E and building services sector. You will play a key role in managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the successful delivery of complex building services projects, and providing expert guidance on electrical systems for various building types.

• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer within M&E or building services projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and standards applicable to building services, including LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems
• Experience in producing detailed electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other design team members to ensure project objectives are met
• Familiarity with UK building regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations
• Demonstrable project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with professional memberships preferred
