Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services
Reading (Hybrid)

An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their experienced team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, data centres, industrial, and leisure.

The Role

• Deliver electrical design from concept through to completion
• Produce calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed designs
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects and contractors
• Attend client and project meetings
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and sustainability requirements

About You

• Degree/HNC/HND in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Knowledge of lighting and electrical distribution design
• Familiar with AutoCAD (Revit desirable)
• Working towards Chartership (preferred)
