Senior Electrical Engineer (Remote)

An established building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The business specialises in mechanical, electrical and public health design, delivering predominantly high-rise residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on RIBA Stage 4 & 5 delivery.

Your new role
This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and autonomy, with occasional travel to London for site visits and project coordination.

Working as part of an experienced design team, you''ll play a key role in the delivery of electrical building services projects, taking responsibility for technical design, coordination and project delivery across a range of high-profile developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate electrical designs across Stage 4 & 5 projects
• Prepare calculations, specifications and technical drawings
• Coordinate with mechanical, public health and architectural teams
• Support project delivery to programme and quality requirements
• Review and check designs and documentation
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Attend design team meetings, site visits and client meetings as required

What you''ll need to succeed

• 5+ years'' experience in electrical building services design
• Strong experience delivering Stage 4 & 5 projects
• Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial developments
• Proven experience working on UK projects with a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a remote team
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Experience using industry-standard design software and coordination tools
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload in a remote environment
