Senior Electrical Engineer – Topside
Location: London, UK (with travel to the Middle East)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support detailed engineering activities for offshore topside projects, including brownfield modifications. Based in London, this role will involve travel to the Middle East to support project delivery. You will work within a specialist engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, coordination, and compliance across all electrical engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with subcontractors and report to the Lead Engineer
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and installation teams to ensure integrated design delivery
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project scope, standards, and specifications
• Track key project milestones including IFC drawings and technical reviews
• Contribute to design documentation, models, and material selection
• Attend project, vendor, and engineering review meetings
• Support HAZID, HAZOP, and safety-focused design activities

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with LV, MV, and HV systems, including calculations
• Knowledge of electrical protection systems and grid or generator synchronisation
• Background in power system automation and integration
• Experience with 3D modelling, MTOs, and constructability reviews
• Experience supporting procurement and vendor packages (MR, RFQ, TBE, PR)
• Willingness to travel to the Middle East as required
