Senior Electrical Engineer - Power, Renewables and Grid Infrastructure £65,000-£80,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare Contribution Permanent Start ASAP Burnley A leading international engineering contractor is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing UK operations based in Kilmarnock. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major Energy, Power and Renewables projects, supporting the development of critical electrical infrastructure across the UK. Working within a highly experienced project team, you will be involved in the delivery of HV and LV electrical systems, substations, grid connections, protection systems and wider power infrastructure projects from design through to commissioning and handover. The role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer, Lead Electrical Engineer or Power Engineer seeking greater technical responsibility within a growing business delivering large-scale energy infrastructure projects. The Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle. Responsibilities Lead the development and review of schematic drawings and single-line diagrams. Provide technical leadership across HV and LV electrical systems. Support the delivery of substation, grid connection and power infrastructure works. Assist with protection and control systems integration.
