Senior Electrical Designer

Location: Manchester Office Based or RemoteWork Pattern: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri, adhoc office/FAT/site visits requiredSector: WaterProject: Various FrameworksRole details: Senior ECandI Designer reporting to project lead engineersYour responsibilities could involve:Providing safe, practical and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company proceduresProducing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, Cable Schedules, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts, PandIDs, System Architecture diagramsChecking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures.Liaising with other disciplines as required.ONC / OND / HNC / HND or equivalent qualification.Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sectorProficient in CAD.Knowledge of UK legislation and standards Highly motivatedGood communication skills and confident engaging with colleagues and relevant stakeholdersWorks with safety and risk management at the forefront of their mindsCustomer focussed Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
