Senior Electrical Designer - NuclearRate: Up to 50.00 per hour (Inside or Outside IR35) Location: Manchester - Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office) Contract: Initial 12 months, view to extend Sector: Nuclear - Uranium Enrichment Start: ASAPThe OpportunityWe are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer to support a major UK nuclear programme focused on uranium enrichment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will report to the Project Lead Engineer and be responsible for delivering safe, practical and high-quality electrical design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce electrical design deliverables including SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, material take-offs, BCDs and equipment/cable routing layouts.Develop and review electrical designs in accordance with project, company and industry standards.Produce and check drawings in line with company procedures.Undertake 3D modelling using software such as AVEVA E3D, Navisworks, Revit or similar.Liaise with other engineering disciplines to coordinate designs and resolve technical issues.Provide technical input throughout the design and project lifecycle.Ensure safety, quality and risk management are at the forefront of all design activities.Requirements10+ years'' relevant electrical design experience, ideally within nuclear, energy or another highly regulated sector.ONC/OND, HNC/HND or equivalent electrical engineering/design qualification.Strong CAD experience, with 3D modelling capability highly ..... full job details .....
