Senior Electrical Designer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designers to be based in Manchester with hybrid working on a long-term contract basis. (Inside and Outside IR35 considered)

Responsibilities:

• Providing safe, practical and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company procedures
• Producing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, Cable Schedules, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts
• Checking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures.
• Liaising with other disciplines as required.
• 3D modelling in Navis Works and AVEVA E3D

Experience:

• Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sector
• Extensive engineering experience in the relevant or similar sectors
• Proficient in CAD. Ideally experienced in 3D modelling
• Knowledge of HV and LV electrical design
