Senior Electrical Design Project Engineer

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for an international engineering business based in Renfrewshire, Glasgow. This is a permanent position, with salary up to £65,000 plus depending on experience, working 37.5 hours per week, early finish on Fridays, plus benefits eg private medical care, contributory pension. To provide engineering design solutions and through life engineering support to the companies product range. Workload can vary from new product design to meet client or internal specifications through to supporting an existing client s request to upgrade or change equipment in the field. Hybrid and remote working options/flexible working available Responsibilities: Provide engineering design input to new systems and products and provide support to the existing product range Liaise with internal departments such as sales, supply chain and production to ensure the best technical solution is provided Creation of part numbers and bill of materials and sourcing suitable components and materials when required. Creation of engineering documentation such as specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certification and reports and checking detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation.
