Join UK Power Networks within the Capital Programme and Procurement directorate, reporting to the Design Lead and producing high-quality designs across an Assets and Connections portfolio. You will help deliver safe, buildable solutions to agreed cost, time and quality targets while contributing technical excellence within a multi-disciplinary team.You will produce electrical designs that can be constructed safely and in accordance with UK Power Networks standards and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, working independently and assuring the designs of others. Your designs will support contestable and non-contestable works across UK Power Networks substations and will conform to relevant Codes of Practice, company procedures and industry standards.From concept and developed design through to energisation and project closure, you will prepare specifications and drawings within agreed timescales, contribute to technical, commercial and contractual procurement documents, and work closely with operational teams, customers, stakeholders and engineering partners.
