Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Hybrid)

An established engineering and manufacturing business is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join its engineering team. This is a senior-level role with a strong balance between hands-on electrical design, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for complex, industry-leading products, while also contributing to team development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement electrical systems and control architectures in line with EN(phone number removed), EN13849, UL, and CSA standards, including CE marking.Produce high-quality electrical schematics, drawings, and layouts using industry-standard CAD tools (Solid Edge and/or AutoCAD preferred).Work closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to ensure fully integrated system designs.Support engineering management and Lead Engineers with task planning, workload allocation, and delivery against project deadlines.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers within the team, including onboarding and ongoing development support.Ensure engineering outputs are produced in a consistent, compliant format, aligned with company quality systems and regulatory requirements.Act as a technical point of contact for other departments, responding to design queries and information requests.Drive continuous improvement ..... full job details .....
