Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We''re currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead HV/MV electrical design projects across sectors including Substations, Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key responsibilities include:
* Leading electrical design projects from concept through to completion
* Delivering HV/MV design solutions including substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
* Producing technical reports, specifications, and design documentation
* Working closely with clients, utilities, and multidisciplinary project teams
* Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Junior Engineers
* Representing the business in technical and client-facing discussions

Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* 5+ years'' experience within electrical design engineering
* Strong HV/MV design experience including substations and grid connections
* Experience with electrical infrastructure design, protection relays, and control systems
* Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD
* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
