Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to work on a permanent basis for a key client of ours as detailed below:

Responsibilities & required experience

• Experience producing electrical designs, layouts and analysis of electrical systems
• Experience in the design and manufacture of complex electrical systems.
• Conduct testing, validation, and qualification of electrical systems under military operating conditions to verify reliability, durability, and mission-readiness
• Produce and approve detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design reports, test plans, and certification evidence
• Proficient with using electrical CAD software (Zuken E3 would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite)
• Produce and approve schematics, design reports, test plans, and certification evidence
• Previous experience within defence or marine preferred though not essential
