Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Are you a driven and experienced Electrical Design Engineer?

Come and join-engineering team, specialising in the design of electrical power systems for load banks and power supplies. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands-on design capability and experience producing high-quality electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical power systems for load banks and power supply equipment

• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical

• Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, cable sizing, and protection selection

• Support the full design lifecycle from concept through manufacture and testing

• Work closely with mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers

• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations

• Create and maintain technical documentation, bills of materials, and design records

Expereinced Required:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Proven experience designing electrical power systems, ideally for load banks, power supplies, or similar equipment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical

• Strong understanding of low-voltage and/or high-power electrical systems
