Senior Electrical Design Engineer Location: Avonmouth / Hybrid Permanent £50,000 - £60,000 We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Designer to join a highly skilled engineering team within a technology-driven manufacturing organisation. This is a senior-level role where you will play a key part in the design, development, and delivery of complex electrical systems for advanced, high-precision products. The role requires strong technical expertise, alongside the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance processes, resource utilisation, and overall engineering effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components in compliance with EN(phone number removed), EN13849, UL, and CSA standards, including experience with CE marking Produce high-quality electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using industry-standard CAD tools Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and firmware teams to ensure seamless system integration Plan and manage engineering tasks, working with management and Lead Engineers to allocate resources effectively Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to engineers, including onboarding new team members Ensure team output is consistent, compliant, and aligned ..... full job details .....
