They are a well established business with a global reputation.This is a varied role where you will take ownership of electrical design projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with manufacturing, installation and engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions for customers.The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to new product development and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the engineering department. Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer Design electrical control systems for bespoke projectsProduce and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation using CAD softwareSelect and specify electrical components, cabling and control equipmentConfigure and support PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs)Provide technical support during equipment build, testing, commissioning and fault findingAssist with prototype development, testing and design validationSupport and mentor junior engineers within the teamWork collaboratively with production, installation and project teams to ensure successful ..... full job details .....
