Senior Ecologist - Infrastructure | Birmingham

We''re hiring a Senior Ecologist to support ecological mitigation and monitoring across a major infrastructure programme in the West Midlands. This is a site-based role in Birmingham, ideal for someone with strong project management skills and deep ecological expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor species and habitat mitigation

• Drive adaptive management to ensure favourable conservation outcomes

• Liaise with stakeholders including Natural England on licensing and compliance

What We''re Looking For:

• Degree/Master''s in Ecology or related field

• Protected species licence holder

• Strong ECOW experience on large infrastructure/highways projects

• Excellent understanding of UK ecological legislation

• Proficient in MS Office and GIS

• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
