As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead protected species and habitat surveys, manage ecological projects from inception through to completion, produce high-quality reports including PEAs, EcIAs and protected species assessments, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team. The Senior Ecologist will also play an important role in maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering projects to a high standard.

Requirements:

• Degree in Ecology or a related discipline
• Experience working as a Senior Ecologist or in a similar position
• Strong project management and report writing skills
• Excellent knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
• Experience mentoring junior ecologists
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or near to the Oxford office
• Membership of CIEEM
• Protected species licences are advantageous
