An established environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist to join its expanding team based near Portsmouth. You will take the lead on a range of ecological projects, coordinating surveys and supporting junior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering ecological impact assessments, carrying out protected species surveys, producing clear and concise technical reports, and liaising directly with clients.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that deliver positive environmental outcomes, while continuing to grow your skills within a supportive and collaborative team. You will also have the chance to get involved in business development activities and help build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an ecological consultancy role
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies
• Excellent report writing and project management skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Must live in or near to the Portsmouth office
