This role is the Senior Ecologist for diverse projects across ecology, arboriculture, tree management, and landscape.Role

As a Senior Ecologist, you’ll be the go-to expert for leading exciting projects. Your responsibilities include:Conducting Preliminary Ecology Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and Habitats Regulations Assessments.Designing and leading ecological surveys and mitigation strategies.Mentoring consultants and graduates, and contributing to the team’s success.Collaborating across disciplines on unique, high-impact projects.Managing client relationships and ensuring your advice shapes project outcomes.Maintaining academic qualifications in ecology or biological sciences.CIEEM membership with a commitment to Chartership.In-depth knowledge of the legislative and planning policy framework.Excellent survey skills, including extended Phase I/UKHabs, specialist species surveys (holding at least one license or specialisation), and/or botanical assessments.Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Alignment with company values and a passion for innovation.On Offer
