Join our clients as a Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation (ECandI) Design Engineer, where you’ll be a key technical authority within our in-house engineering team. You’ll lead the design and delivery of electrical control panels and associated systems, supporting projects from concept through to construction.Key Responsibilities
Lead ECandI design activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.Act as technical authority for ECandI discipline, supporting the Engineering Manager in achieving business goals.Translate client specifications into robust engineering solutions.Manage design phases, change control, and support manufacturing and construction stages.Plan and execute tasks to meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets.Interface directly with clients, managing expectations and scope.Approve engineering estimates and monitor project costs and progress.Ideal Candidate
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.Proven experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, oil and gas, or power generation.Strong theoretical and practical ECandI knowledge.Skilled in design, testing, and evaluation of electrical systems.Low Voltage Switchgear, MCC, and Variable Drive System Design.Control/Automation System Design.Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and AMTECH.Security Clearance
Existing clearance preferred; candidates must be eligible for UK security vetting.Seniority level
