Senior ECandI Engineer North West (Hybrid Working) up to £58ph 4 day working week Outside IR35 The OpportunityAre you at the point where you want more influence over engineering decisions, not just another delivery or design-only contract?This is a senior ECandI contract working on complex, safety-critical programmes within highly regulated environments such as defence and nuclear. The role operates at consultant level, giving real influence over technical decisions rather than being limited to a pure design function. You''d have ownership across the full lifecycle - providing technical leadership, assurance, integration support and problem-solving through delivery - on an Outside IR35 basis with hybrid working and long-term programme stability. It''s an opportunity to shape standards and outcomes, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, rather than just executing instructions.What we''re looking for:Strong background in ECandI, control systems or instrumentation engineeringExperience working in regulated or safety-critical environments (e.g. nuclear, defence, petrochemical, power)Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or actively working toward chartershipExposure to functional safety standards (SIL, IEC 61508/61511 or similar)Comfortable operating at senior / consultant level, challenging designs and influencing outcomesUK-based and eligible for security clearanceLocation: North West / Our client is comfortable with hybrid WorkingAbout Ford and Stanley ..... full job details .....
