Key Responsibilities: Production of EC&I design concepts, including SLDs, BCDs, cable schedules, and layouts. Knowledge of control system hardware and software. Experience in Functional Safety adhering to BS EN 61508 & 61511 standards. Ensure designs conform to British and European standards and client requirements. Maintain an LTQR / Technical File as per NSG Quality Management Systems. Address operability, maintainability, and safety issues in designs. Meet project programme and budget requirements. Prepare design justification reports to mitigate identified technical risks. Create functional safety and controls design documentation, including FDS, SIDD, and Functional Safety Plans.
