Senior Early Years Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator to work as a senior practitioner. Full time and part time hours available.Responsibilities
As a Senior Early Years Educator you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and Early Years education for young children.Work as part of a supportive team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.You will follow the EYFS framework to support children’s individual development and build strong relationships with both families and colleagues.Provide immediate care for every child and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.Act as a key person, monitoring and recording children’s progress.Maintain up-to-date Learning Journeys and individual planning.Support personal care, hygiene, and mealtimes.Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.Follow safeguarding procedures and monitor child wellbeing.Ensure the room is clean, safe, and well-resourced.Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies.Encourage free flow play to support independence and confidence.Participate in training and ongoing professional development.Support the room leaders/management and mentor junior staff.Qualifications
A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.Experience of working in a childcare setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Job Details
