Oversee the full document control lifecycle across multiple MEP projectsManage, track, revise, and archive all technical and commercial project documentationLead and mentor junior document controllers and project administratorsEnsure compliance with QA/QC, ISO, and client-specific document control standardsImplement and maintain EDMS platforms, ensuring accurate and efficient document flowWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers, QS teams, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain timely and accurate information exchangeProduce document status reports, highlighting overdue approvals or outstanding submittalsIdentify and escalate documentation risks to mitigate project delaysSupport audits by maintaining an accurate, audit-ready recordStandardise and improve document control processes across the businessQualifications and Requirements
Proven experience in document control within the MEP or construction industryStrong knowledge of MEP project documentation (drawings, specifications, submittals, OandM manuals, test certificates)Advanced user skills with document management platforms such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, BIM 360 (or similar)Understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650 requirementsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation across multiple projectsStrong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skillsLeadership qualities with experience mentoring junior team membersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong reporting/data analysis skillsA proactive, detail-driven, and quality-focused approach to workWhat to Expect in Return
