RWS is seeking a Senior Director Security to lead the protection of our global IT and digital assets. In this pivotal role, you will shape and execute our cybersecurity vision, proactively defending against emerging threats while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Set security standards and policies based on risk and regulationProvide tools and guidance to wider businessMonitor compliance and report on gapsPrevent threats via secure access, encryption, and controlsDetect issues through logging, monitoring and alertingImplement procedures for continuous improvement with a no-blame cultureDefine non-functional requirements (e.g. SLAs, uptime, performance)Monitor and analyse metrics to increase performance, iterate on vision and roadmaps, and provide insights to senior leadershipOversee budget allocation, optimising resource utilization for maximum ROIDeliver accurate forecasting, performance reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership and take responsibility for weekly/monthly/quarterly reportingRespond to incidents quickly and effectivelyEnsure compliance with company policies and regional regulations, mitigating potential risksIdentify and mitigate risks proactivelyLead and develop to achieve targets and foster professional growthRecruit, train, and/or develop the department to facilitate long term success for RWSLead divisional succession planningCoach and mentor team members to deliver excellence in serviceDefine and execute staffing and cross-training plans using forecasting dataConduct performance reviews, manage team performance, and support career developmentSkills and Experience
Essential:Significant experience in IT Security at Director levelCurrent security certifications, including CISSP, CISA or CISM are highly desiredDeep knowledge and experience with transformational services, digital solutions or enterprise platformsDemonstrated commercial acumen including cost management and data-driven decision making and executionProven experience in senior leadership role within a global businessAbility to demonstrate a rich blend of analytical, creative and strategic problem-solving talentsTake advantage of possible opportunities that can advance the companyPossess a high degree of professional and personal integrityAbility to lead effectively in a unified directionExperience inspiring, leading and developing teams including cross-functional teamsExperience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise relationships across regions and business unitsExpertise in strategic and tactical planning, financial management, and leading a departmentOutstanding customer and partner facing communication skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsDesirable:Experience of or able to rapidly acquire ability to navigate complex global and matrix managed environmentsExcellence in complex change managementLife at RWS
