London | Competitive base + discretionary bonusWe are partnering with a leading global provider of education and development services to the Financial Services industry on a key senior appointment: Senior Director, Learning Solutions.This newly created role has been designed to strengthen the organisation''s consulting, solution design, and project mobilisation capability-ensuring clients receive innovative, commercially sound, and impactful learning solutions from the very start of their journey.As Senior Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of Learning Specialists and Project Managers, shaping how client needs are analysed, solutions are designed, and projects are mobilised for seamless delivery.The role will involve:* Defining and delivering the strategy for discovery, consulting, and solution design across high-value client engagements.* Building the organisation''s consulting capability, embedding best practice across needs analysis, solution frameworks, and project governance.* Leading and developing a high-performing team, creating clear structures, responsibilities, and career paths.* Partnering closely with Sales, Content, and Client Success teams to ensure smooth handovers from design to delivery.* Providing senior oversight of project mobilisation, ensuring the right resources are in place and risks are managed early.* Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, influencing and shaping learning strategies at an organisational level.Desired Skills and Experience* Proven senior leadership experience in learning and development, consulting, or solution design* Strong understanding of learning architecture, instructional design principles, and project management methodologies* Experience managing complex, large-scale programmes in a global environment* The ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational oversight* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to influence at the highest levels* Familiarity with the Financial Services sector and its regulatory learning ..... full job details .....
